How'd I do?

Well the boutique was this weekend as you all know. It was a lot of fun, I am really glad that I went I learned a ton about what I want to do and where I want to go Businesswise. I think that I sold a total of like 5 things...maybe it was more like 3. I really am not all that dissapointed. I was not prepared like I wanted to be and I was very unorganized. I will do much better at my next show...whenever that will be. I have a show planned for November, so get ready because it will be awesome.

Miss hailey gets here cast off this wednesday, I cannot be more excited. not that she hasn't done a great job with it but because it is soooo skanky. It is falling apart, literally, and it is pretty stinky, and she totally put it in my sisters pool tonight, yuck! I cannot wait to stop worrying about the stupid thing.

Boutique

Okay everyone I am doing a boutique this friday and saturday and would like to invite all. It will be awesome! There will be lots of really cool buys there. not just my adorable stuff!!!. Here is the flier. It is in mesa, right off of ValVista and Southern.Give me a call if you need directions.

Where have we been?

I Know it has been forever. But we have been having so much fun!!! Where to start...well, we went to lake powell and had a blast (no pic's my camera is broken, not that I know how to get them onto my blog), the kids played hard and loved it soooo much. We had to come back early though, so sad daddy had to work. Upon the second day home Miss Hailey and Mo were playing, rather wildly might I add, and she fell off the couch and fractured her tibia that's right a 12 inch fall and we have a spiral fracture my friends. She has to wear a cast for 4 weeks. Well it has been almost 3 and I cannot wait for it to come off. She has done so well though, she is an amazing little girl. Well just 4 days after we got a brand new cast we headed off to spend a week on the beach in California. Thank heavens for doctors who sent us to waterproofcasts.com. Hailey got a nice blue rubber boot that sucks out all the air and allows her to go in the water, it seriously is fabulous. We have been home for a week now and I anm still trying to catch up on laundry, and it's never ending. But on a fabulous note miss Hailey has decided that she is ready to go poopoo on the potty, and has done so twice today! Hurray for independance.

I am also busy getting ready for a festival. That's right I am taking my wares to a festival and I got to tell you I am so nervous. What if nothing sells? All this sewing and beading and embroidery for nothing. I am really excited though, just to get out and try my dream. I would someday love to open a boutique but that will have to wait till at least I am done having kids. I must confess my biggest fear and weakness.....FAILING!!!

Princesses and Knights

So or our craft day we read books about knights and princesses and then we make tiara's and cepters or the girls and the boys decorated swords. It was such a blast. The girls were so very cute in their tiara's. They were adorable I pulled out a sticker sheet wwith rhinestones and Hailey and Brooklyn, my beautiful neice, scream Diamonds!. They are so cute. Hailey and leila had on a big fluffy Tutu's which went perfectly with the theme of the day (I will have pictures soon, I promise). Morgin had such fun decorating his sword, he is fanatical about them Brigham also made one, with the help of his big sis of course.

4th of JULY!!!

Well, it's the 4th of july. We spent the holiday with Heath's family at The Point South mountain and let me tell you it was such a blast. So much fun in fact that my children were too tired to stay up and watch fireworks. We played all day in the water. There park is so much fun. I will tell I am so blessed to have such a big family with older cousins to play with and help keep track of the youngers. They are some of the best neices and nephews a girl could have.
We host a craft class on thursdays at our house and i am so tired I don't know if I am going to be able to stay awake during it. It is so much fun we have like 8 kids that come and we read a couple books and then do a craft to go with the theme of our books. Last week we did plant and seed books and so we painted pots and planted seeds, it was such a blast. Its just a bunch of my kids' friends who come. I am really glad I decided to do it for the summer. It gives the kids something to do on the boring oh so hot summer days. well have a happy 4th of july and stay safe.

Birthday Party!!!

So last weekend we had a little birthday party for Hailey and Morgin at my sisters house house. You know nothing big, swimming, BBQ, giant water slide, pinata, party bags...and the list goes on. I thought this would be no big deal just a little b-day party, boy was I wrong! party's are a lot of work, but it was so worth it. This was my favorite b-day party yet. I really liked having a combined party, especially with him turning 4 and her turning 2. They were so cute! They were so excited to have friends come, they missed some cousins and family members but I doubt they remember that now. They were hillarious opening presents. Hailey opened a box of jewelry from my sister and it had a necklace with some cut plastic beads on it, well Hailey yells "DIAMONDS!!! I love it." She now refers to it as her diamond necklace and wears it all the time. She is such a girl it is not even funny. She loves to match her jewelry with her clothing, it's adorable.
We ended up getting two pinata's of course well, the boy's smacked the crap out of the awesome pirate ship one but the girls were like you want me to hit this princess castle?...I don't think so. We got a couple of little smacks from the girls but ultimately we had to let one of the boys have a go at it. I need to learn how to put pictures on here because my cakes were so cool you don't even know. Mo's cake was a treasure map and it was so detailed and awesome. Hailey's cake was the skirt to a barbie doll. funny story my dad was supposed to watch the cake and take it out when it was done, he being a chef and all, but he took it out too early and ruined the cake so we got an angel food cake and filled the center with skittles then frosted it. It looked super cool let me tell you. Oh, how I love having children, it makes life so much more fun.

Bad Guys

Morgin is so funny! He has been way into bad guys and policemen, you know policemen keep us safe from bad guys, they take them to jail and all that good stuff. So lately he has been on this whole he is afraid that a bad guy will come into our house so naturally I told him that DAD (aka. superman) protects us from bad guys. So now it is "My Dad beats up bad guys, he punches them in the face and protects us and takes them to jail. He is soooo awesome." It is so cute to listen to him go on and on about how his daddy keeps us safe. I love to listen to the kids talk about Heath, it is so cute.
